Treasurers Report:  $11,613.85 in account with all of our bills paid.  Remaining $$ left in PayPal account will be taken to WB Jacob Davis’ home.  Will try to have next meeting towards Wellington area, then ride over to his home, or try to get him to the meeting. Brothers will find out what works best.  Dues website updated.  PayPal notices will be sent to those who have not paid as per bylaws they were due at today’s meeting. Wounded Warrior Ride will be on 6-25-22 at 10 a.m. from VFW.  Several other rides discussed.  RW Ralph Bentley is going to scan and put them on our website.
 
Presidents Report
1. Brother Scott Plumb from the Stonington Lodge was voted in unanimously after his petition was reviewed by President Kyle.  Welcome Brother!  2.  Email list now being used is current!  3.  Grand Masters Ride supporting The Children’s Hunger Alliance coming up.  President Kyle is going to verify details.  Check last month’s minutes and OGC Website for details.  4.  Christmas Party being researched by Companions.  Motion made by Mike Haslage, 2nd Pres. Kyle to have Companion Gail book Ziggy’s at the available evening in December.  Members will pay approx. half of the cost of dinner which will be in the $15.00 per person range.  Thank you companions for doing this work!!  Gail to verify date and cost on Monday 16th.  5.  Tennessee is a no fly zone.  Be careful—no colors!!  6.  New OGC bylaws will be forwarded out to all members.  7.  Wounded Warriors very humbled by Overseers presence!  8.  Brother CJ almost done with flyer with a couple of changes discussed.  Cost will be $25 per rider and $10 per passenger with dinner.  Dinner tickets will be sold for $15.00 with count to be given to Pogie.  Motion made by Eric and 2nd by Skip to purchase 3-$50 gift cards and 1- $100 gift card to be raffled off.  Unanimous approval.  To also be placed on flyer.  Dinner tickets to also be printed off as well.  9.  Bros. Keith spoke about an incident at the Jailhouse Bar in Grafton with a Widows Son/Hells Angel.  Please show respect to all when out in public!!!

Treasurers Report:  Balance of $11,102.43.  PayPal balance will be given to WB Davis for continuing donation that was received.  911 ride limited to 800 bikes.  Register early if interested.  Police escort will happen.  Plan to leave on 8-18-2022.  Ride is 8-19 thru the 21st of August.  Must have EZ Pass for tolls on the ride.
Presidents Report/New Business      
President Skip Kyle reminded members that the payment of dues is now being accepted.  Due in May.  As per last meeting, the dues increase has been rescinded ($120.00) and are now $40.00.  Website shows $35.00, this will be changed to show the increase from 35 to $40.  Please use the website for payment if possible.  Both debit/credit and PayPal works.  Easier for record keeping!!
1) $19,861.00 in OGC coffers.  2)  Grand Masters Ride is on 6-18-2022 at AD Farrow HD.  Chapters should hook up then go to AD Farrow.  3)  State Rally is on July 14, 15 and 16.  Being held by the Lions Paw Chapter. Please go to:   lionspawchapter.com  for details.  4)  OGC owns our patches and they can legally go after them when a member leavers.  5)  Dues are $40.00 for our Chapter and are due at our May Meeting.  Driver’s License and Insurance cards are due then as well.  6)  Two new member petitions voted on.  WM James Cain from LaGrange Lodge and Br. Corey Oakes from the Bellevue Lodge.  Both voted in unanimously, and we welcome them wholeheartedly.  Both new members stated that they are looking forward to being actively involved in the Overseers Chapter.  7)  Br. Scott Plum submitted an application and will be voted on at our next meeting, as he was not present today.  8)  Our Benefit Ride discussed.  Looking for donations from vendors.  9)  Mark Shuster stated that there are 3 openings for the Sept. 9 thru 12 Chautauqua, NY ride.  Beautiful house rented on the Lake.  Leaving that Fri. at noon.  10)  Brett discussed a Buffalo Trace Ride. 11)  Calendar for the year discussed.  12)  April 30, 2022.  Blessing of the Bikes at the Wellington Eagles.  Pancake Breakfast from 8-10 a.m. with a ride to follow.  Bylaws need updated to show receival of patches timeline.  Motion by E. Robson to have 4 officers review Bylaws, make changes/corrections, and have members review and vote on at our next meeting.  2nd by Pres. Kyle.  Unanimous approval by Members.   13)  8-20-2022 there is a Hog Roast being held by The Hiram Riders.  LY we received trophy for most members attending and longest travel.  14)  OGC Gun Raffle tickets are being sold for $20.00 each.  President Skip has them.  Drawing will be held at The State Rally.  15)  Next meeting will be held on May 15th at 10:00 am at the home of Eric and Lisa Robson.  All future meetings will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10:00a.m.  Address will be sent in an email to members.

President’s Notes:  1) Tentatively, our meetings will be held the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10:00 a.m.  This will enable us to ride after the meeting.  If that day falls on a Holiday, the meeting will be moved to the prior or next Sunday.  2) Check with Eric on Benefit Run.  3) 911 run is on August 19, 20, 21.  
 
New Business:  1) Motion to rescind $120.00 dues increase, set dues @ $40.00, made by VP Doc.  2nd by Pres. Skip.  Motion passed unanimously.  2) By-laws state that members need to attend 1 ride and attend 1 event.  Do we need to look at suspending those who do not abide??  3) Motion to table purchase of trailer made by Mark Shuster.  2nd by President Kyle.  One (1) Nay vote.  Motion passed.  4) Grand Masters Reception is May 19th for the 22nd District.

Treasurers Report:  Balance of $12,003.64.  All checks cleared and have PayPal receipts coming in for monthly contribution.  Brett will check to see if that person wants monthly contribution or if it was a mistake.  Will check into how and when to disperse these PayPal funds received from fund-raiser.  Two members left to pay dues, difficult to get in touch with, we are trying!  Insurance cost for potential trailer is approx. $120.00 yearly.

President’s Report/New Business
Discussion held on various options on trailer purchase.  Motion made by Brett Robson to continue due diligence on pursuit of trailer purchase. Specs of trailer, member use overview, and price range of trailer, rental rates of non-purchased trailer will be researched.  2nd by Skip Kyle.  Unanimous vote.
Discussion held on the raising of our dues.  Don DiDomenico made a motion that dues be increased to $40.00 to cover the additional $5.00 per diem cost from OGC.  Brett Robson 2nd.  Discussion held. 
Don DiDomenico amended his motion that dues be raised to $120.00 per year with $80.00 being returned to members after participation in 4 (four) events, with requirement of by-laws staying in tact that members are required to do at least one meeting and one event and participate in main Chapter Bike Event.  2nd by Skip Kyle.  8-Aye, 4- Nay.  Motion passed. 
Don DiDomenico offered to have our 1st meeting of the year in 2022.  That meeting will be held on Sunday, April 10th at 1:00 p.m.
Please note that the election of officers will be held at our next meeting.
Next meeting will be held at the home of Eric and Lisa Robson on November 14th at 11:00 a.m.  Please note time since it is a bit earlier than normal.  Address is 3006 Chenango Road, Wakeman, OH 44889.  Chenango still closed at Route 60, but you may use Auster Rd. off of Butler Road to get to Chenango.

Treasurer’s Report:  Balance of $13,936.77.  $1889.00 collected through charity event (Benefit Poker Run).  Treasurer looking at purchasing a reusable dry erase check to be used at our presentations.  Cost is $93.00 from Master Printing Group out of Berea.  Motion made by Pres. Kyle and 2nd by Br. Haslage to purchase the check.  Unanimous approval by membership.
VP Report:  Please keep OGC Secy. Doc Hall in our prayers as he is fighting through some medical concerns.  After our next meeting, the WS Vest will be taken and presented to WB Jake Davis at his home.
 
Old Business
 
New Business:  1). Presentation of check from our Benefit Ride will be on 9-11-21 to The Valor Home.  The check will be presented during the softball game between the Lorain Firefighters and the Lorain Police Department at the Pipeyard Field on W. 21st St. in Lorain.  2). Br. Shuster is exploring a 3 day weekend ride to Chautauqua, N.Y., next year.  Shoe will check out prices and pass on information.  3). Several members discussed various ride ideas for next year, along with having a 2nd fund raiser ride.  4). 8 members of the Overseers went to The Hiram’s Rider event and won a plaque for having the most members present.  5). Idea suggested on moving our meeting up to 10:00am rather than 1:00 pm for next year, as this will enable us to ride after the meeting.  Several members thought this was a good idea and will be discussed.

New Business:  Pres. Report:  Benefit Ride on July 25th.  Flyer has been sent to all.  Thank you very much to Bros. CJ Life for preparing the map of the run for us!  Checking into pull-off tabs for ride with WB Ernie Meade.  Please take your donated raffle baskets to Pogie’s Clubhouse in Amherst.  Times and address will be provided.  Several members at meeting are donating baskets. The Amherst Legion Riders Post 118 is having a Memorial Benefit Ride on Saturday July 17th at 10:00 am.  Cost per rider is $5.00.  Information will be distributed then for our Benefit Ride as well.  Please support them as well!!  There will be an event at the home of Jacob and Crystal Davis on Saturday July 24th at 3:00 pm, 28180 Baker Road, Wellington.  Further details will be provided
V.P. Report:  WB Jacob Davis is still in the VA with paralysis from waist down.  6% chance of walking again, but there is hope!!   VA found a wheelchair van and they need $5K down to purchase.  WB Jacob does not remember much about the accident.  He reported that no alcohol was involved and got into some roadside gravel.  He has good vision and speaks well.  LaGrange Lodge Brothers are going to help build a ramp soon.  Motion made by VP Doc DiDomenico to present WB Jacob Davis with vest from Larry Horton and to make Crystal a companion, with no dues. Overseers will send Larry Horton a check for $100.00 for the vest.  2nd made by President Kyle.  Unanimous approval.
President Kyle presented the vest patches to Brother CJ Life.
Next meeting will take place on August 22nd at the home of Mike and Karyn Haslage at 1:00 pm.  Details will be forward on address and food arrangements.

Old Business:  WB John Hooper has a beautiful, brand new XL leather vest which was returned by Brother Larry Horton, who is no longer a Mason.  All patches on and it is in perfect shape.  Someone make an offer!!
 
New Business:  Treasurer Brett Robson reported that we have $11,323.74 in our Key account.  All checks have cleared including the $1,600.00 check that was raised for the family of WB Jacob Davis.  Treasurer also reported that he and RWB Ralph Bentley are putting up two separate PayPal accounts on our website.  One is to register and pay for our upcoming benefit run, and another to simply donate to the ride/Valor Home.
Presidents Report:  1. OGC Has $9,200.00 in their account.  2.  Continued discussion at state level on Chapters turning in their Meeting Minutes to the OGC.  3.  Fund raising event being held by OGC which is a Gun Raffle.  $20 per ticket.  President Kyle has them for sale.
 
Vice Presidents Report:  Still looking at July 14th for WB Davis to come home.  He will keep us posted on visitation times and things we can do to help the family.
Secy. Report:  Our Benefit Run is set for July 25th.  WB Brett has sent all of us the flyer.  PLEASE make as many copies as you need to distribute to local establishments/businesses/friends/groups.  All donations are going to the Valor Home of Lorain County.  Please check out their website, as it is a great service that they are performing for our homeless Veterans.  This is our 1st annual run in memory of our Fallen Brothers, RWB Donnie Alberts and WB John Hooker.  Please get involved.  We need things for door prizes, raffles, baskets, etc.  Let’s help honor our Fallen Brothers and the Veterans of the United States!!
Secy. assured members that our monthly meeting minutes and roster changes/additions/deletions are being done monthly as per requirements.  I do not see any issue in sending in our minutes monthly to the OGC!

Treasurers Report:  6 members who have not paid dues.  $10,419.48 in our account.  Jacob Davis fundraiser is on our website and able to pay through PayPal.
Presidents Report:  1. New Chapter being formed close to Dayton.  “Hiram’s Legacy”.  State now has 23 Chapters.  2.  Top and bottom rockers now have to touch.  New members and new vests if purchased by current members must have vest in this manner.  Getting away from 3 piece patch as well as no state name on back underneath.  3.  New members will sign papers to give patches back if they resign.  Legal action will take place if not returned.  4.  Lorain County Vets is not a 501C3.  Valor Home in Lorain is a possibility.  5.  July 25th will be our Benefit Run.  Details to follow.  6.  Shirts and hats for sale.
V.P. Report:  WB Jacob Davis is now in a Rehab Center.  Doing good, learning his Power Chair, waiting for surgery on his hand.  Possible July 14 date to come home.  Wife Crystal will have a sign-up sheet to see him when that time comes, two at a time. Broken jaw ½ open.  Please keep Jacob and his family in your thoughts and Prayers.

Old Business:  1. Reviewal of Roberts Rules of Order.  Sgt. of Arms responsible to insure meeting is run correctly.  Cheat sheet given to Doc on rules of order.  Doc has experience in rules dating back to Union Meetings.  2.  OGC Assessment Fee is a one-time fee.
 
New Business: 1) Doc reported on speaking to Outreach Director at 2nd Harvest.  Presentation of check to 2nd Harvest will be Friday 9-18-20 @10:30 am to present the $1,000.00 check.  Meet at 9:00 am at Blue Sky Restaurant if interested.  2)  Rough Ashlars Ride on 9-19.  Contact Mike if interested as he is going.  3)  New Member Jacob Davis presented patches By Pres. Mike Haslage.  4)  No news back from local Sleep in Heavenly Peace charity that we are trying to donate to (1st Ladies sponsored charity).  5)  Hocking Hills ride info. will be sent out.  6)  WB Hooper spoke about potential fund raiser similar to what Bellevue Lodge had.  Already cooked.  More info. to follow.  7) Please review Grand Chapter Website  8)  Nomination and Voting for next years officers will occur at our next meeting on Oct. 3rd at 1:00 pm at the home of Eric and Lisa Robson, 3006 Chenango Road, Wakeman, OH.
9)  Reviewed 3 Moms Stitchin patchwork they sent in regards to Memorial Patch for our fallen Bros.  Voted to shrink patch, remove working tools so that our companions can wear.  Rocker size to fit oval patch.  Motion to approve patches by Lon Burton, 2nd by Skip Kyle.  Unanimous approval.
